About us.

I’m a licensed Mechanical Engineer and owner of Alfred Engineering LLC, a Small Veteran-Owned Business based in Omaha, NE. I founded Alfred Engineering to deliver high-quality, hands-on engineering for clients who need a technically sharp partner, not a large firm with layers of overhead.

My background spans over a decade of engineering across the energy, industrial process, and infrastructure sectors. I’ve designed mechanical systems for ethanol plants, refined fuels terminals, biodiesel facilities, natural gas pipelines, LNG facilities, railroads, and commercial buildings. I work across a wide range of systems — thermal oil, steam, cooling water, glycol, natural gas, edible oils, combustion air, flue gas, HVAC, and more.

I also take on structural work: equipment foundations, pipe supports, pressure vessel calculations per ASME BPVC, and structural design of industrial systems. I am currently pursuing licensure as a Structural PE to formally complement my mechanical practice.

Before starting Alfred Engineering, I led engineering teams as an Engineering Manager and served as a lead engineer on multimillion-dollar projects from concept through construction. I bring that same project ownership mentality to every client engagement. I’m the engineer who picks up the phone, stamps the drawings, and sees the work through.

My military service as a Marine Corps Captain and Combat Engineer Officer instilled a discipline and mission-focus I carry into every project. I also bring bilingual capability in English and Spanish, which has proven useful in coordinating with international firms and diverse project teams.
